Got one of my Dragon Princes painted as a tester for the colours, quite pleased with it so the rest will follow soon.

Also made a start on the Skaven clan rats, quite fun to paint which is a good thing as there is a lot more to go.

Getting back to normal for a while, got some 15mm Napoleonics on the bench now. Pictures soon.

Second distraction

I thought it wouldn't hurt to make a start on the Games Workshop 'Island of Blood' set that I got last year. As I have a bit of a soft spot for Elves it was kind of a sure thing they would be the first to get some paint.

I started to get distracted. A bunch of 20mm British made their way on to the bench.

I also gave the armour a boost by adding these Shermans

I want to get my 15mm wargame armies built up this year, mainly WW2 and Napoleonic.

I made a start with some plastic Soldier Company British infantry.

It took a while for the first model to roll off the bench this year, but aftet the airbrush problems were sorted this Spitfire finally made it.

It's Tamiya's 1/48 Mk 1 Spitfire and a joy to make.
